WHO WANTS TO BATTLE
After the first couple months of the pandemic, I watched the immense popularity of “VERSUZ” which although billed as a “battle” seemed more like a walk down memory lane and a chance for artists to make a bunch of money off their back catalogs. (I have no issue with that). I kept waiting for DJs to start doing the same with our own battles. I grew tired of waiting. I put out an open challenge on Instagram and twitter for a heads up with anyone willing to get down. I had the first opponent fall through and a new one stepped up. We agree to the rules and format. and the great judging panel of Craze, Supreme la Rock and DJ Lazy Boy were gracious enough to give their time to make it happen. On Sept 4th we had to my knowledge the first ever Live DJ Battle on twitch. We have now done 5 WWTB events and counting.
